Why a quiz beats another read-through

Answering a question forces you to pull the fact out of memory, and that effort is what makes it stick. Rereading only makes the page look familiar. Learning research calls this the testing effect, and it is the reason practice tests rank among the most effective study methods in the research on studying.

A wrong answer is not wasted either: as long as you see the correct answer and the reason right after, a failed attempt still improves what you remember. That is why every question here comes with a short explanation.

Spread the quizzes out rather than taking them all in one sitting. The spaced repetition calculator tells you when to come back to each topic before your exam, and the exam study planner spreads all your topics over the days you have.
